Submission Requirements

Please read the following requirements carefully before submitting the TAMIU Consortium Agreement Form to the Financial Aid Office.

Students cannot receive financial aid at the host school.

  • All the appropriate departments must fill out their portion of the application.
  • Proof of payment for classes from the host school must be submitted with the Consortium Agreement Application.
  • Transcripts from the host school must be submitted to TAMIU at the end of the semester.
  • Students must notify the TAMIU Office of Financial Aid office of any dropped courses.
  • Withdrawing from courses registered at TAMIU or the host school can result in the cancellation of all or part of the student’s financial aid.

Additional Guidelines Regarding Consortium Agreements

  • Students must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at TAMIU.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress, as specified by TAMIU, must be maintained.
  • Forms completed incorrectly will delay the processing of financial aid.
  • Providing false information may result in reduced eligibility, repayment of aid, or both.
  • Requests for additional loan funds based on total enrollment may require you to submit a Loan Change Request Form.
