Blackboard cannot send copies of course messages to external email address, but the system can send notifications/alerts to university email addresses (to @dusty.tamiu.edu accounts for TAMIU students, and to @tamiu.edu accounts for TAMIU employees). Use the following information to receive these notifications on your mobile device(s).

Step 1: Enable Notifications/Alerts for Course Messages

Step 2: Add TAMIU Email Account to Mobile Device

• Install the Microsoft Outlook app, and then add your Microsoft account.

In case you are asked for the following:

• Server: dusty.tamiu.edu for Students, mail.tamiu.edu for Staff/Faculty
• Domain: tamiu.edu
• Email: Your @tamiu.edu (faculty/staff) or @dusty.tamiu.edu (student)
• Username: Your TAMIU NetID
• Password: Your TAMIU password
