S.O.L.A.R.
As we navigate through uncharted waters this academic year, the Office of Student Orientation, Leadership, and Engagement is looking for innovative ways to provide support and leadership advancement to our student organization leaders.
With this in mind, we invite all of our registered student organizations to participate in our all-new Student Organization Leadership Advancement Retreat (S.O.L.A.R.). With topics covering the “nitty-gritty” of student organizations such as fundraising and recruitment all the way to leadership transitions and the development of personal and organizational goals, S.O.L.A.R. will provide you with all the tools required for success as a student organization.
We ask that your student organization sends representatives to participate in S.O.L.A.R. S.O.L.A.R. will be held throughout the week of September 23 to September 27th 2024. We are allowing for students to represent multiple student organizations. We are also allowing for students to leave the session early (if need be for work or other reasons) as long as they have another student organization representative to replace them.
Organizations will be required to send at least 1 representative to each workshop that we will be having as part of SOLAR week. Please refer to the workshop times and dates below:
