About Us
The Campus Ally Network is a student-governed organization committed to providing advocacy and education to TAMIU's queer and ally students. CAN serves as an outreach to the LBGTQIA+ community and its allies on campus and Laredo.
Our mission starts with
- The exposure of the LGBTQIA+ community to all TAMIU students
- Educating the TAMIU and Laredoan community on queerness and queer issues
- Advocating for safe spaces on campus for CAN and its queer community
- Educating TAMIU students on healthy relationships between everyone
- Advocating for the expansion of gender neutral bathrooms on campus
