About
Collaborating with TAMIU as a Signature Partner provides many incentives for your agency! Launched in Fall 2014, Partnership TAMIU is a nomination-based community engagement agreement designed to enhance existing relationships between TAMIU and external agencies by: helping community partners to meet their agency's mission and goals, promoting the exchange of resources between the University and community agencies, and exhibiting a commitment to social responsibility by addressing issues of public concern. The selected Signature Partners sign a three-year Memorandum of Agreement with TAMIU for exclusive collaborative efforts.

Community Partner Resources
Volunteer Requests
We serve community organizations throughout the Laredo area by meeting volunteer needs and sharing resources and information. Community Partners can submit a TAMIU Volunteer Request Form to request volunteers for their events or projects. By partnering with us, organizations gain access to dedicated volunteers and valuable resources to enhance their efforts in making a positive impact in the community.
Volunteer and Service Fairs
Community Partners are invited to TAMIU to inform our students, faculty, and staff about volunteer opportunities available to them in the community. The Volunteer and Service Fair happens in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Our upcoming Volunteer and Service Fair is taking place:
Date: Thursday, September 5, 2024
Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: Senator Judith Zaffirini Success Center 1st Floor
If you are interested in representing your agency at the upcoming Volunteer and Service Fair, please sign up.
