About Our Program
The Master of Science (MS) in Psychology program prepares you to apply the science of psychology to a wide variety of professional settings. The program focuses on a broad background in research-based psychology, from social, experimental, and cognitive, to developmental psychology, as well as providing a background in research methods and design.
About Our Faculty
Faculty in the MS in Psychology are trained in the areas of Experimental, Cognitive Psychology, Psycholinguistics, Social Psychology, Social Cognition, and Clinical and Counseling Psychology. The Psychology faculty are highly active in basic and applied research. All graduate courses are taught by faculty with doctoral degrees. There is a strong research interaction between faculty and students, providing opportunities for the graduate student to work directly with their chosen faculty mentor.

The MS in Psychology offers you unique research opportunities to investigate social and psychological processes in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory, equipped with the latest behavioral and brain-related technology to study language processing, memory, and social psychological aspects of the human mind/brain. The Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory features top-of-the-line eye-trackers for recording eye movements, as well as Electroencephalography/Event Related Potentials (EEG/ERPs) equipment used for recording the brain’s electrical activity.
