Mission Statement

The Bachelor of Arts in Communication program enjoys a wide-ranging mission in teaching, research, creative activities, and service to our community. The program prepares students to: Think critically and communicate effectively; Participate actively in their education through collaboration with faculty in research and professional activities; Become involved as leaders in their communities through internships, service-learning and hands-on experience; Pursue postgraduate and professional degrees in Communication and related field.
