The freshman and sophomore computer science courses act as gateways for the programs at LC and TAMIU, which are taught mainly by adjunct faculty. To improve student learning outcomes in these courses, an annual three-day workshop for instructors is planned for summer 2025. A priority will be the integration of the signature practices within the curriculum as identified by the Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI), a designated NSF INCLUDES alliance. |
