Recreational Sports

1. Patrons can pay their membership fee at the KWRC during normal operating hours.
2. Payments can be made by Credit Card only.
3. All Faculty, Staff, & their spouse are eligible to enroll in payroll deduction.
4. Once payment is made, members must complete an invoice and waiver form
5. If you are a University Affiliate or General Community (non-TAMIU Affiliate) you will be issued a Rec. Sports I.D.
6. If you are a Faculty, Staff, Student or Alumni, your current TAMIU I.D. will be activated for the Semester.
7. If you do not have an I.D. you may purchase one at the TAMIU Onecard Center in Student Center 128H.

Employees approved for participation in the HRT Program shall receive 30 minutes during normal work hours up to 3 times a week for Health Release Time (HRT) to participate in approved HRT activities in the TAMIU Recreation Center or participation in any HealthyU-sponsored fitness activity. HRT is paid time, does not have to be made up, cannot be accrued, and does not need to be documented on timesheets. Ask your supervisor how you can partake in HRT Today!

Normal fees for employee use of the TAMIU Recreation Center will apply and are the responsibility of the employee.

The Healthy U 2- Week Pass allows TAMIU full-time staff full access to Rec Sports facilities, programming, and amenities for free.

Healthy U 2-Week Pass will not be available during the fall 2023 semester.
