Officially introduced in Fall 2021, TAMIU Esports joined the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) where hundreds of Universities/Colleges compete at the National level for scholarships. The objective of this program is to enhance the student experience by providing the opportunity to express their passion for gaming while working towards completing their degrees. Opportunities within TAMIU Esports includes being a student-athlete, streamer, coach, or simply just a fanatic of our talented rosters.
Our mission is to provide more recreation services to a wider spectrum of students as well as opportunities for community involvement, leadership, and universal gameplay. Our dedicated players compete for collegiate titles in Call of Duty, Rocket League, League of Legends, and Valorant through the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) Starleague and CSL Esports.
