What are the steps to coming back to TAMIU?
To begin, the first step is to fill out the comeback form, which will connect you with our team, ready to provide personalized guidance throughout the process. From there, you'll move through four key steps to successfully return to school, as outlined below.
Step 1 - Application
Students who have not been enrolled at TAMIU for more than one year need to submit an application through Apply Texas application.
Step 2 - Admission
Students need to submit all required documents to TAMIU. This includes transcripts from any other previously attended schools.
Step 3 - FAFSA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Submitting your FAFSA is strongly encouraged for all students, as it opens the door to a variety of financial aid opportunities, including grants, scholarships, and federal student loans.
Step 4 - Advising
Students need to complete a degree evaluation to understand their graduation requirements and create a clear path toward completing their degree. This evaluation is essential for course registration and ensuring you're on track to meet all academic goals.
