Closer Than Ever

What Is Closer Than Ever?

Closer Than Ever (CTE) was initially created as a program to assist returning students who were a semester away from graduation, helping them re-enter the university and complete their studies. The program focused on providing a streamlined, one-stop resource for students by assisting with the various processes and paperwork required for re-enrollment. This included the admissions application, financial aid application, advising, and course registration, all while ensuring a hassle-free experience for the student.

To better address the multicultural needs of all TAMIU students, the program was expanded and rebranded as #Comeback. Under this new framework, assistance is now available to all students interested in returning, regardless of their academic standing or where they are in their educational journey. The #Comeback program ensures that every student has the support needed to successfully re-enroll and complete their degree.

In addition to providing personalized guidance, the #Comeback program emphasizes the importance of making the transition back to school as smooth as possible. Whether you’re looking for advice on degree planning, financial aid, or course registration, our team is here to offer tailored assistance at every step. The program ensures that returning students feel supported, confident, and prepared to re-engage with their academic goals.
