1. How to handle a spill in the lab – Follow the lab/protocol specific instructions detailed in the Labratory Biological Safety Manual which is in each lab and contains the specific needs for cleanup of the spill. Also immediately notify your supervisor, the IBC Chair and EH&S (all contact numbers are posted in lab and in the manual as well), and they will provide guidance regarding whether spill requires any additional reporting or not.
