Scholarships
When you become part of the Honors Program, you will automatically be considered to earn one of the two Honors Scholarships available:
- D.D. Hachar Honors Scholars Program
- Automatically considered to be awarded if you are part of the Honors Program and meet the requirements of Good Standing:
- TAMIU GPA 3.2
- Full-time Student
- Signed Agreement with a Faculty Mentor to participate in Undergraduate Research.
- Automatically considered to be awarded if you are part of the Honors Program and meet the requirements of Good Standing:
- G.B.P. Newman Scholarship
- Automatically considered to be awarded if you are part of the Honors Program and meet the requirements of Good Standing:
- Turn in a Thank-you Letter to the Scholarships Office
- TAMIU GPA 3.2
- Full-time Student
- Signed Agreement with a Faculty Mentor to participate in Undergraduate Research.
- Automatically considered to be awarded if you are part of the Honors Program and meet the requirements of Good Standing:
Please be aware that if you are awarded any honors scholarship, half of the payment will be disbursed at the beginning of the semester and the other half at the end of the semester upon completion of the agreement. Should you choose to withdraw from the honors program or fail to meet eligibility requirements, the scholarship may be discontinued, and you may be disqualified from future honors scholarships.
