Title V - ADVISE

Interns will attend Professional Development Workshops for four Saturdays, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, during the fall and spring semesters of each academic year they are enrolled in the internship. Topics of the workshop include, but are not limited to:

• Reinforcement and application of science content in the degree programs
• Preparation for the General Science Exam for State Teacher Certification
• Test-taking strategies
• Pretesting for the General Science 7-12 Teacher Certification Test
• Job placement, resume preparation, and interviewing techniques for teaching positions
