Internship Program
Each internship will support selected junior and senior students for 10 hours per week for up to two years. Each recipient should be enrolled in the General Science 7-12 Teacher Certification Program. Each student will ideally participate in the TAMIU Summer Science Boot Camp prior to their acceptance into the internship program; all Weekend Exemplary Teacher Preparation Workshops, and the TAMIU Summer Education PPR Boot Camp. Interns will be assigned to one review session per semester. Each year interns will design and implement a hands on activity for Discover TAMIU.
