TAMIU @ LC Open House Offers Transfer insight
For the third year in a row, TAMIU Open House at LC, an opportunity for Laredo College (LC) students to explore their transfer opportunities at their hometown University, Texas A&M International University, was held Oct. 23 outside LC’s Kazen Center.
LC students met with TAMIU service representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing, the testing center, student engagement offices, and more. Additionally, faculty representatives from the University's six Colleges and Schools were present.
Mirian Granados, director of the University's Office of Recruitment and School Relations, noted the importance of these opportunities for transfer students seeking admission to the University.
“Our Open House at Laredo College offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking one-on-one assistance from our team of dedicated staff members. We always want to ensure a smooth transition for our transfer students by offering the crucial support necessary to ensure success,” said Granados.
