Bright By Text makes free resources and advice to parents available right at their fingertips!
- Free activities, games and resources for parents and caregivers of children prenatal to age 8
- Text messages in English or Spanish
- Developmental tips based on a child’s age
- Timely info on local resources and events
- Links to more online learning materials, including videos you can access on any smartphone
- Information on challenging behaviors (sleep, eating, potty training, tantrums) when you need it most

IME BECAS SCHOLARSHIP
- The members of this Fall’s Institute of Mexicans in the Exterior (IME) Becas Scholarship Program at TAMIU received new laptop computers donated through a generous partnership with the Consulado General de México and Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest.
- Each year, the scholarship is made available to currently enrolled TAMIU undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must submit proof of Mexican citizenship, be enrolled full-time, and maintain an overall GPA of 2.75 or greater. Incoming freshman students must submit a high school GPA of 3.0 or greater.
DISCOVER TAMIU
- The free event includes over 150+ activities throughout the 300-acre campus. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and family to enjoy a day full of fun and educational activities.
- Families can learn more about the humanities, culture, and social sciences through the International U Pathway. The Business Boulevard Pathway focuses on the role of business in the world. The final Pathway, Scientific Journey, encourages participants to learn more about science and STEM.
