Next Level Engineering Grant

Welcome to the TAMIU Next Level Engineering (NLE) project! Our team is dedicated to enhancing engineering education and fostering a supportive environment for all students. NLE expands postbaccalaureate opportunities for engineering students in South Texas through initiatives such as new graduate programs, graduate certificates, skill-enhancing workshops, and improved academic resources. Dr. Khasawneh is an associate professor of systems engineering and the Director of the School of Engineering at TAMIU with over 12 years of experience in the field. His expertise in systems engineering and commitment to student success have been instrumental in shaping the NLE project.

Dr. Elvira Teran

Dr. Teran is an assistant professor of computer engineering with experience in engineering education and working with industry partners. Her innovative approach to teaching and learning has significantly contributed to the planning of NLE workshops and the establishment of the NLE Pathway to Engineering Excellence Mentorship Network for students.
