Learn about Program Assessment and how programs at Texas A&M International University engage in the process. See below for definitions of the different roles involved in the Program Assessment documentation process.
Texas A&M International University uses the online platform HelioCampus (AEFIS) to document annual Program Assessment Plans and Reports. In addition to Office of Institutional Assessment Research and Planning (OIARP) staff who provide programs with feedback and comments at the end of an assessment cycle, there are two other roles involved in the assessment documentation process:
- Program Coordinators: Faculty/instructors who document and submit Assessment Plans and Reports in HelioCampus (AEFIS). Program Coordinators are assigned to one or multiple programs.
- Department Academic Liaisons: Individuals (most often Department Chairs and/or Deans) who provide the final review of the Assessment Plans and Assessment Report before submitting to OIARP for end-of-cycle comments. Department Academic Liaisons review Reports for all programs within a department.
