What legacy do you hope to leave at this school?
The legacy I hope to leave at TAMIU is one of unity, service, empowerment, and pushing limits. I want to be remembered as someone who not only enhanced school spirit and student engagement but also ensured that every student felt heard and supported. By strengthening resources like the food pantry, promoting transparency between students and administration, and fostering a sense of community through student organizations and events, I hope to inspire future leaders to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, creating a campus where everyone can thrive. Our college years are where we discover a lot about ourselves, and I want to help create an environment where students feel empowered to explore their potential, challenge themselves, and push their own limits.

What are your academic and career goals, and how do you feel your time at TAMIU will help you achieve them?
My academic goal is to complete my master’s in public administration and eventually pursue a PhD at Texas A&M in College Station, with the aim of working in higher education or the public sector. I want to focus on policies and initiatives that improve education, foster economic development, and create a more vibrant environment for the college experience. TAMIU has been instrumental in shaping my leadership skills, academic foundation, and professional network, all of which will help me achieve these goals and make a lasting impact in the future.

Building on these enriching experiences, I have also cultivated a deep passion for global engagement and cross-cultural exchange, primarily shaped by my life between the United States and Mexico.
