The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket
Two very imaginative children journey through our solar system, by way of a rocket built from a large cardboard box, in hopes of learning more about outer space and all it entails. With the help of a talking library book, they are able to travel into the Great Red Spot of Jupiter and fly through the rocky rings of Saturn. They land on gloomy Venus, our crater-filled Moon, dusty-rusted Mars, and tiny, cold Pluto. They are able to fly past Mercury, observe Uranus and its upright ring system, and finally soar through Neptune, the last of the Gas Giants.
