CJ Career Expo organizer Dr. Brittany Hood, TAMIU assistant professor of CJ, said the Expo provides students with powerful opportunities.

“This career expo not only aids in professional development but also enhances understanding of the dynamic nature of criminal justice careers. It’s an invaluable opportunity for students to make professional connections and explore numerous facets of the criminal justice field, and we encourage them to take advantage of this special event,” Dr. Hood said.

Over 25 leading employers and agencies will be on-site to discuss potential job and internship opportunities, conduct on-the-spot interviews, and network with the future leaders in criminal justice.

CJ Career Expo highlights include:

  • Workshops: Tailored to enhance resume writing, USAjobs.gov application processes, and elevator pitches.
  • Panel Discussions and Research Presentations: Peers and professionals provide insight into advancements and real-world applications in criminal justice.
