Saturday: TAMIU Men’s Soccer Hosted Sul Ross at First PEG Energy Stadium ‘Mob Fest’

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Dustdevil Athletics collaborated with the Laredo Heat to offer a spectacular event, dubbed ‘Mob Fest” this past Saturday, Nov. 2 at PEG Energy Stadium.

TAMIU Dustdevil Soccer defeated the Sul Ross State University Lobos 2 - 1.    

Entry was free and open to the public.  

Attendees included students, faculty, staff, and alumni.  They enjoyed giveaways and door prizes as well as free meals and T-shirts. Student organization activities were available for the public. At halftime, the TAMIU Spirit Squad  presented a halftime show for the public and a prize giveaway. Post-game entertainment followed.

The partnership and collaboration between TAMIU Athletics, TAMIU Alumni, Laredo Heat, Student Government Association, and Maroon Mob offered an exciting new event for the public and TAMIU affiliates that bears repeating.
