TAMIU Zombie Run 2024 Thrills
Can you outrun a Zombie?
It was a race for the dead-icated at the TAMIU Zombie Run 2024 Saturday, Oct. 12 at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) from 8 – 11 a.m.
Zombie Run 2024 was hosted by TAMIU Rec Sports, which offers an array of services ranging from group fitness, intramurals, personal training, and Esports. Partnering in the event was HealthyU, TAMIU’s Employee Wellness Program.
The Zombie Run is an annual tradition that supports TAMIU recreational activities, said event coordinator and Rec Center strength and conditioning specialist, Clarissa Guerrero.
“Our Zombie Run is an annual Halloween tradition here at TAMIU. We look forward every year to welcoming members of our University community and the community at large for some ghoulishly good fun. Funds raised directly contribute to recreational activities, funding student programs, and fostering a vibrant, welcoming campus environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Every step taken in the race helps build a stronger, more connected TAMIU community, and impacts the University's efforts to engage and empower its students,” said Guerrero.
