TAMIU Observes Emancipation Day
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) offices were closed and Summer Session classes suspended Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in a State-authorized observance of Emancipation Day.
The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library and TAMIU Rec Center was also closed.
TAMIU offices reopened and classes resumed Thursday, June 20, at 8 a.m. On Friday, June 21, the University will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Summer Semester II begins Monday, July 8, 2024. The first day of classes for the Fall 2024 semester is Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.
