Power is Restored at TAMIU After Maintenance Requirement

Power has been restored to Texas A&M International University.

As part of its continuous and effective campus infrastructure and facilities maintenance, the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) facilities team will conduct important maintenance requiring a campus-wide power outage Friday, March 15.   

The campus is closed for Spring Break on Friday.

Power outage details are:

Date: Friday, March 15

Start time: 7:30 a.m.

Expected duration: Approximately 12 hours. 

During this time, all TAMIU buildings will be powered off except University Village. University Police Department (UPD) Dispatch will remain operational.

Residential Learning Community (RLC) residents can utilize Club House facilities at the University Village during the outage. 

The University apologizes for any inconvenience this power outage may cause and appreciates your understanding as we work to ensure a safe and efficient campus operation.
