TAMIU All Majors Career Fair Returns Wednesday

Individuals seeking a potential career prospect are invited to attend the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Spring 2024 All Majors Fair Wednesday, March 27 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Student Center Ballroom. 

While current TAMIU students and alumni are encouraged to attend, the fair is open to the public. Register for the event by visiting go.tamiu.edu/allmajorscareerfair.

Some 20+ employers are expected to attend the Career Fair.

Employers present at the Fair include the Border Region Behavioral Health Center, Capital Farm Credit, Community Action Corporation of South Texas, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc., Cook Children’s Health Care System, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Enterprise Mobility, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, PAM Transport, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and more.

During the Fair,  employers will meet with prospective employees to discuss current hiring needs, qualifications for job openings, required certifications needed and any job-related questions.

Attendees should bring copies of their updated resume and prepare a 30-second “elevator pitch.” Individuals are encouraged to dress business professional as job recruiters will be conducting on-site interviews.

TAMIU’s Career Services offers a range of services that includes creating resumes and cover letters, practicing interviewing skills and access to Handshake, an employment tool. Services are available to prospective and current students, and University alumni.
