TAMIU Police Department Visits, Gifts Students at Santa Maria Elementary School

Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Police Department officers and partners came together to make the holiday season extra special for students at Santa Maria Elementary.

Their combined efforts resulted in gifts for 30 students, ranging from toys, clothing and requested items from each child’s Christmas wish list.

“It was a beautiful site to see, the children's smiles, their laughter, the pure joy on their faces was priceless. The University Police Department believes strongly in taking care of our community, we are grateful to principal José Perez and his wonderful staff for allowing us the opportunity to visit,” said Cordelia G. Perez, TAMIU Chief of Police.
