TAMIU Phi Kappa Phi Initiates 79 in Virtual Ceremonies
Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) first virtual Initiation of New Members for the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Chapter 296 saw 79 new members join in online ceremonies held Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Phi Kappa Phi president Dr. Lola Norris, TAMIU associate professor of Spanish and Translation, said this was a first in many ways.
“This is one of our largest group of initiates and was our first Virtual Initiation. Family and friends were able to watch our Ceremony online from anywhere,” she noted.
