Non-thesis: 36 Semester Credit Hours
Program Information:
The Master of Arts in Communication features two areas of study not available in most communication graduate programs: Border/Latin American Media Studies and Organizational Communication in Transnational Settings. The first area prepares you for doctoral studies or professional work in national/international organizations. The second, while preparing you to pursue doctoral studies, offers training in organizational communication-related fields. Students have the option to pursue one area of study or take courses in both areas.

Program Requirements:
- Two letters of recommendation
- 500-word personal statement describing your career goals, aspirations, and timetable for completion of your Degree
- Writing sample of scholarly or professional work (senior research paper, thesis, or journalistic writing)
