Combined BA/MA, BS/MS Degree
Total Hours: 9 Credit Hours of Graduate Coursework
Applicable Undergraduate Majors: Communication, English, Criminal Justice, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, or Sociology
Program Description: Undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences may take up to 9 hours of Graduate coursework if accepted into the BA/MA, BS/MS program. All program admission requirements must be met during junior year. Accepted students will begin taking Graduate courses during their last year of Undergrad and are required to maintain a overall "B" in their Graduate coursework.
Interested BA/MA, BS/MS students must still begin the process by submitting a Graduate School application online via ApplyTexas.
Program Requirements:
- Junior-standing
- Overall GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Field GPA of at least 3.5 (or 3.25 for Mathematics)
- Must be pursuing one of the above mentioned Applicable Undergraduate majors
- 2 Letters of Recommendation (1 from Faculty Advisor & 1 from Faculty Member)
