Spanish Studies at TAMIU
Our Spanish programs prepare the students to have a critical and open thinking. The students will also have a preparation in academic research and writing, and techniques for communication and analysis in diverse fields of professions, as well. They can achieve a solid foundation in literature and culture from both Spain and Spanish America, and refine their abilities to communicate in the Spanish language.
Graduate Programs:
- Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies (Cooperative Doctoral Program)
- Master of Arts in Language, Literature and Translation with a Concentration in Spanish
Undergraduate Programs:
- Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Spanish (Titulación en lengua, literatura y cultura hispánicas)
- Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Spanish with All Level Certification
