International Business and Technology Studies
Our Division’s main goal is to prepare students for leadership positions within the fields of management, international business, management information systems, and decision science. Through our programs, undergraduate and graduate students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to spur managerial and technological innovations in organizations, with the goal of improving productivity and quality. We place particular emphasis on forming graduates that will look at organizational problems and opportunities from an international business perspective.
We offer seven major academic programs, and several concentration/minor academic programs. The seven major academic programs offered by our Division are the: Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Administration (BBA-BA), Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management (BBA-MGT), Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems and Data Analytics (BBA-MIS), Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Trasnportation & International Logistics (BBA-TIL), Master of Business Administration (MBA) – taught in English and Spanish, and Master of Science in Information Systems (MS-IS).
Our Division plays a key role in the Ph.D. Program in International Business Administration, where we offer the concentrations in Management and Management Information Systems. We offer the Business Track of the Systems Engineering Program, in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences. We also offer the minors program in: Business Administration, Management, and Management Information Systems.
