Vacation
Eligible employees earn vacation leave, except faculty with less than a 12-month appointment. Part-time employees earn vacation leave in proportion to employment. Credit for prior State employment is given for each month or a fraction of a month of service. Vacation leave is earned in accordance with the following schedule:

25 but less than 30 years | 17 | 436 |
30 but less than 35 years | 19 | 484 |
35 years or more | 21 | 532 |
Employees must have six months of continuous employment with the State before they are eligible to take vacation leave. If termination occurs before six months of service is completed, this benefit is forfeited.
