TAMIU Honors Emerging Student Leaders, University Life, Student-Athlete Awards Recipients
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) recently recognized students, programs, faculty advisors, and administrators for their contributions of leadership, service, and time with a series of award events celebrating these accomplishments.
University Life Awards celebrate student leaders and organizations at TAMIU. In addition to announcing the State Senator Judith Zaffirini Scholarship and Leadership Award recipient, numerous students and organizations were recognized for outstanding achievements with awards in various categories selected by TAMIU faculty and staff.
The Emerging Leaders Celebration recognizes students who participated in various leadership programs at TAMIU throughout the past year. Students were honored for their hard work and dedication towards improving not only themselves, but also their communities, whether at TAMIU, in Laredo, or the world.
2024 Student-Athlete Awards recognize outstanding on field and in-classroom accomplishments by TAMIU Dustdevil student-athletes.
TAMIU president Dr. Pablo Arenaz said all the Award recipients help affirm the exceptional learning experience and opportunities the University provides.
“These students on the field, off the field, in the classroom, and in our community have all engaged fully in the exceptional life of the University and in being active participants in the sense of belonging and giving that the University upholds and values.
