TAMIU Area Preview Day Held
Prospective students interested in learning more about Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) are invited to attend an Area Preview Day Saturday, March 4, from 11:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Area Preview Day welcomes students from Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley and beyond.
Students coming from the Rio Grande Valley can take advantage of the Dusty Express Bus Pass that will transport students, parents and school officials for free. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must complete an Eventbrite RSVP at https://go.tamiu.edu/previewday-rsvp and select from the following three locations:
- McAllen (McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Boulevard, McAllen, TX 78501)
- Harlingen (Bass Pro Shops, 101 Bass Pro Drive, Harlingen, TX 78552)
- Rio Grande City (Fort Ringgold, Ringgold Ave., Rio Grande City, TX 78582)
Preview Day is an opportunity for incoming students to learn more about TAMIU and experience Dustdevil life first-hand. Event highlights include information sessions on registration, financial aid and study abroad.
Prospective students and their families will also be able to preview on-campus housing and participate in a University services fair, where individuals will learn more about support services available to enrolled students.
Preview Day caps off with a celebration with a full-fledged introduction to school-spirited traditions and chants to reinforce University pride.
