TAMIU Holds 9th Annual Voz De Niños Toy Drive
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Athletics Department is gearing up for its 9th Annual Voz de Niños Toy Drive, a Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)-affiliated program that advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Members of the TAMIU community and the public are invited to collect toys and gift cards. Individuals are also able to participate in the Toy Drive by dropping off their donations during the next home game:
Saturday, Dec. 10, against West Texas A&M University
- Women’s Basketball at 1 p.m.
- Men’s Basketball at 3 p.m.
Games are held at the University’s Kinesiology-Convocation Building.
Student-athletes and volunteers will participate in gift-wrapping events this weekend.
Last year, the University’s Voz de Niños Toy Drive collected 195 toys and gift cards and raised over $400 in cash donations.
