TAMIU Expands COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery by National Guard
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is expanding its COVID-19 vaccine delivery on campus through a new partnership with the National Guard.
The National Guard will assist TAMIU in the delivery of vaccines every Wednesday and Thursday in a walk-up opportunity from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants must be 12 years or older.
Additional vaccination dates delivered by the National Guard are as follows:
Friday, July 23 |
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. |
Friday, July 30 |
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. |
Friday, August 20 |
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. |
The vaccinations are open, no appointment required, and free of charge to members of the TAMIU community and the general public. Available vaccines include Johnson & Johnson (Janssen), Moderna and Pfizer. All are free of charge and open to all.

TAMIU’s Fall 2021 plans are focused on a return to a full and vibrant on-campus experience for all students, faculty and staff at its 300-acre northeast Laredo campus. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
