‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Movie Showing at TAMIU Planetarium this Weekend
The movie, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will show this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11-12 at the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium.
Shows are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 12 at noon, 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. A costume contest is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. for ages 6-14 only.
The Planetarium recommends purchasing advance tickets, as there are a limited number of tickets available.
General admission tickets are $4. All veterans with a valid military ID will get a free ticket. Tickets can be purchased in the Lamar Bruni Vergara Science Center, room 385 or at the door.
Activities for Saturday also include face painting, artwork and an opportunity to take pictures with Star War characters.
