Green Club Ribbon Cutting to Inaugurate a New Recycling Bin at the University Village

Members of the Texas A&M International University Green Club and members of the TAMIU Environmental Committee held a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate a new recycling bin at the University Village Tuesday and celebrate Earth Week this week. On Wednesday, a campus-wide recycling effort will take place between in the Breezeway (between the Dr. F.M. Canseco Hall and Anthony J. and Georgia A. Recycling items that can be brought during Wednesday's campus-wide recycling effort include plastic bottles, paper, plastic bags, aluminum cans, toners for printers or copy machines. Other items that will be picked up include rechargeable batteries and used cell phones.
