Due to the threat of severe winter weather, TAMIU will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

  • Regular office hours resume Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 8 a.m.

TAMIU Academic Conference Coming March 21-22

Graduate and undergraduate students will have the opportunity to show their academic research or full-fledged original scholarship, art and performance to the community at the upcoming Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Lamar Bruni Vergara & Guillermo Benavides Z Academic Conference Thursday, March 21 – Friday, March 22, 2013.

This is the fifth year the TAMIU Office of Graduate Studies and Research hosts the event.

The Conference provides an opportunity for recognition of the excellent research and scholarship of TAMIU students, with cash prizes for best presentations in their disciplines.

The Conference is graciously supported by the Lamar Bruni Vergara Trust and Guillermo Benavides Z.

Winners are announced at an award ceremony and buffet dinner, which concludes the Conference.
