Let the TAMIU LBV Planetarium Cure those Winter Blues
Make plans to spend part of your spring break exploring the universe, visiting ancient Egyptian pyramids, catching a glimpse of the future or searching for an enchanted reef at the Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium. The LBV Planetarium will be open Monday, March 15 – Wednesday, March 17 and will offer special discount tickets.
Monday, March 15—Buy one ticket and get one free ticket (of equal or lesser value). General admission is $5 and $4 for children, seniors and TAMIU students, faculty, staff and alumni. “The Zula Patrol: Under the Weather” will show at 3 p.m. and “New Horizons” at 4 p.m.
Tuesday, March 16—Everyone pays child admission ($4)! “One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure” will show at 3 p.m. and “Seven Wonders” at 4 p.m.
Wednesday, March 17—Wear green and save green! Wear a green shirt, pants, socks or accessory and save $2 when you purchase tickets to “Kaluoka’hina: The Enchanted Reef” showing at 1 p.m. or to “The Future is Wild” showing at 2 p.m.
The LBV Planetarium will be closed Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 and reopen Friday, March 26.
