Young Dancer Program at TAMIU Sets Registration Aug. 28

Now that students have gone back to the three Rs, it’s time to sign up for that other R—rhythm.
Registration for the Texas A&M International University Young Dancer Program and Ballet Folklórico Juvenil is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28 from 3 – 6 p.m., TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA), room 122.
Classes will meet starting Monday, Sept. 1 through Friday, Dec. 12.
Children as young as two, teens and adults may sign up for class offerings that include ballet, flamenco, ballet folklórico, two levels of flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, pointe and yoga.
All classes will be held at the TAMIU CFPA.
Tuition for children’s classes is $40 per month. A $5 monthly discount applies for multiple siblings enrolled in lessons. Uniforms, shoes and/or skirts are also required for an additional fee.
Tuition per class for the teen/adult technique classes (ballet, point, flamenco, yoga, jazz and hip-hop) is $35 per month and an additional $10 for every additional class.
Tuition may be paid monthly or in one lump sum at the start of the session. A $10 discount applies to all who pay in advance for children’s classes or teen/adult technique classes.
