Travel thousands of years back in time and see the amazing seven wonders of the ancient world at the Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara premiere of “Seven Wonders” Saturday, June 21 at 7 p.m. and encore at 8 p.m.

General admission is $6 and $5 for children and TAMIU staff, students and alumni.

“We are extremely excited about the debut of ‘Seven Wonders’ in our facility. This is a very interesting show that will take audiences on a voyage through time and space through magnificent full dome images,” said Gerardo A. Perez, director, TAMIU LBV Planetarium.

“Seven Wonders” features the seven wonders of the ancient world and investigates theories of how these marvels were created. Visitors will see ancient Egypt’s Great Pyramids and Lighthouse of Alexandria, wander through the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and stand in the shadow of the towering Colossus of Rhodes.

The show also gives audiences a glimpse of some of the natural wonders far beyond this planet.

Sean Bean, Boromir from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, narrates “Seven Wonders.”
