The Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium has scheduled special show times at a discount, Friday, April 6.

Admission for all three shows scheduled that day will be only $3.

“Wonders of the Universe,” a program for upper grades and adults, lets audiences peer deep into space through the eyes of the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and travel back billions of years. “Wonders” starts at 2 p.m.

The journey through space continues with “Destination: Saturn,” immediately following at 3 p.m. This show reveals the mysteries of the mighty ringed planet.

For audiences interested in biology, “Microcosm” shrinks audiences down to the size of a microbe and shoots them inside a patient infected with a mysterious illness. “Microcosm” starts at 4 p.m.

Starting Friday, April 13, shows will air an hour earlier than in the past. Features will run at 6 and 7 p.m.
