TAMIU Percussion Ensemble Drums Up Concert April 24

Enjoy the beat of different drummers at the Texas A&M International University Percussion Ensemble Concert at the TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall on Tuesday, April 24 from 7 - 9 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Concert will feature both the concert percussion ensemble and indoor drumline. Selections include: “The Series” by Hawkeye Drumline, “Ceremonium” by Jared Spears and “Song of Joy” by David Mancini.

Students will also perform solos that will showcase various percussion instruments between selections.

The TAMIU Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of José A. Villarreal. The Concert is sponsored by the TAMIU Dustdevil Band, directed by Dr. Michael Stone.
