Due to the threat of severe winter weather, TAMIU will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Festival Folklorico Saturday at Tamiu

The Festival Folklórico will be held at Texas A&M International University on Saturday, January 29 at 8 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall.

Featuring dance groups from across Texas, the evening will feature dances from across Mexico. The performance concludes a two-day folklórico workshop with Maestro Pedro Serna from Zacatecas.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. For more information, please contact the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at 326.2654, visit offices in the CFPA, room 217B or e-mail gabym@tamiu.edu. University offices are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
