Registration Underway for ESL, Spanish Courses at TAMIU

Registration is underway until Friday, Jan. 16 at Texas A&M International University for English as a Second Language and Spanish courses to be offered in the Spring I Session at the University's International Language Institute.

Late Registration will be held Jan. 20-23 but no late fee will be assessed.

Two ESL courses will be offered. The Intensive ESL course will be held from Jan. 20-March 12, from 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Semi-Intensive ESL course will be held Jan. 20-March 14, from 7:30 p.m.-9:45 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Tuition for each complete course is $916 and includes lessons on listening, speaking, grammar, reading and writing. However, a student may choose to take only half a course with a tuition of $466 and focus on part of a course, which could be a combination of listening speaking and grammar, or reading and writing.

Students who wish to learn Spanish may choose from two courses, Beginning Spanish I and Beginning Spanish II. Both courses will be held Jan. 20-May 14 and tuition is $316.

Beginning Spanish I will be held from 6 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. and Beginning Spanish II from 7:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
