Those interested in brushing up on their English skills can take advantage of intensive, English as a Second Language (ESL) courses offered at Texas A&M International University.

Registration is now underway until Oct. 11 at the International Language Institute, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, 316.

María Dolores Orellano-Pérez, director of the ILI, said that although late registration will be available, students are advised to register as soon as possible since recent Immigration and Naturalization Services regulations may affect application procedures for some and hence, require more time than usual.

Intensive courses will take place 8:30 a.m. - 12:10 p.m. Monday-Friday and will focus on grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Lessons are delivered in six levels and tuition is $880.
